Nairobi - Salt Lick Safari Lodge

Meet up Nairobi SGR station for your morning train to Voi. The journey offers a comfortable and scenic ride across Kenya’s plains. Upon arrival at Voi, you will be met by a lodge driver and transferred to the wildlife-rich Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Arrive in time for lunch at Salt Lick Safari Lodge.

After some relaxation, proceed for an afternoon game drive within the sanctuary. You may spot elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Full Experience at Taita Hills (Salt Lick Stay)

Start early with a morning game drive, one of the best times to see active wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast and enjoy time at leisure, watching animals gather at the waterhole directly from the lodge. After lunch, visit the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary education centre to learn more about conservation efforts in the area. Later, head out for another game drive the sanctuary, increasing your chances of spotting more wildlife species.

Taita Hills to Mombasa Beaches

After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Voi SGR station. Board your train to Mombasa, arriving in the early afternoon.

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Bamburi Beach Resort, located along the coastline of Mombasa. Check in, relax, and enjoy the ocean breeze.

Dinner and overnight at the resort.
