Mombasa to Amboseli National Park

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel or residence in Mombasa by your professional driver-guide in a 4x4 safari Land Cruiser.
Depart and drive inland along the Mombasa–Nairobi highway toward Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic views of the countryside along the way, with chances of seeing local wildlife en route.
Upon arrival, proceed to Amboseli Sopa Lodge for check-in and lunch. The lodge is located on private land just outside the park, approximately a short drive from the park gate, and offers beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro and surrounding savannah landscapes.
In the afternoon, depart for your first game viewing drive inside Amboseli National Park. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Day Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, depart for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park with packed lunch. Spend the day exploring different sections of the park, including swamps, open plains, and acacia woodland areas where wildlife is abundant.
You will have excellent opportunities to see elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of bird species. The park is also one of the best places in Africa to photograph wildlife with the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park at a designated site, followed by continued game viewing in the afternoon.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Amboseli National park to Mombasa

After breakfast at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, check out and begin your journey back to Mombasa.
Drive through scenic countryside along the return route, with views of rural settlements and landscapes along the way.
You will arrive in Mombasa in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or preferred location of your choice. No game drive is included on this day as it is dedicated to travel back to the coast.
