After breakfast depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant populations and ancient baobabs trees. Upon arrival, begin your game drive across the vast savannah dotted with seasonal swamps and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the year.
Expect to encounter large herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Tarangire is also home of predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy spotting over 500 bird species including colourful kingfishers and hornbills.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park while surrounded by nature. Continue with an afternoon gamer drive exploring different section of the park before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today, you will visit the beautiful Marangu waterfalls, reached after a scenic trek of about 40 minutes. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into Chagga culture, village life, and the rich flora and fauna that surround the area. The landscape is stunning, and on a clear day, you may even catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro’s summit. Upon arrival, the waterfalls—standing over 80 meters high—create a refreshing natural pool, perfect for a swim, so remember to bring your swimwear.

After enjoying the peaceful setting, you’ll return to Marangu village for a delicious traditional Chagga lunch, with a chance to taste local banana beer—an experience not to miss.

The visit continues with a lively coffee-making experience, accompanied by traditional Chagga songs and dances, offering a fun and interactive cultural immersion. Before departing, take time to enjoy the freshly brewed coffee you prepared while soaking in the beautiful rainforest surroundings.
