Day 1

After your morning breakfast, you will out of the hotel and start your journey to Kibale National Park in Kabarole district in Western Uganda through the tea plantations and rolling hills to reach Fort portal town. While in Fort portal you will have an en-route lunch and continue your journey to Kibale National Park. After checking into the lodge, you will embark on a guided nature walk in the Bigodi wetlands and you have a chance to spot 138 bird species.

After the guided swamp walk in the Bigodi wetlands, you will visit the community around Kibale National Park where you visit the local coffee farmers who will show you coffee is processed locally for consumption. You will also visit Rest in Bananas and you will see how Banana man makes different products from bananas. After this experience, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

After your morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge in Kibale National Park and you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ndali-Kasenda crater lakes. You will arrive at the lodge where you will have lunch and there after you will check in and relax.

After lunch at the lodge, you will go for a 2-hour boat cruise trip on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes George and Edward and you will surely be fascinated by the concentrations of giant hippos, buffaloes, elephants and crocodiles among others. You will also see many varieties of birds at the water shores.

In the evening, you will head out for an evening game drive in the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth as you will have an opportunity to see different animals including the Big cats such as Lions, Leopards, Waterbucks, Uganda kobs, warthogs, Elephants, Buffaloes, among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Have your breakfast very early in the morning, depart for an early morning game drive as early as 6am to the rolling plains of Uganda’s second largest National Park and look out for: lions, leopards, buffaloes, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, Uganda Kobs, oribis, and elephants. For any birder, there are quite a number of birds to sight too during the drive. Return to the lodge for some rest time and lunch.

In the evening, you will head out for an evening game drive in the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth as you will have an opportunity to see different animals including the Big cats such as Lions, Leopards, Waterbucks, Uganda kobs, warthogs, Elephants, Buffaloes, among others. Day 4

After your morning breakfast, you will head to the Kalinzu Forest Reserve where you will embark on a chimpanzee trekking experience in the reserve. During this trek you will have an opportunity to see other primates species and many bird species. You will spend one(1) hour with the chimpanzees after finding a group.

After the chimpanzee trekking in Kalinzu Forest, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park while enjoying the scenic views of the country side. You will have a lunch stop where you will have hot lunch and you will continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive at the lodge where you will check in to the lodge. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then report at the park headquarters at 7:30am for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Remember to carry your packed lunch and enough drinking water since you may stay in the forest up to afternoon in search of these gentle giants in their natural environment. Gorilla trekking exercise is physically demanding but an exciting activity! You may need to hire a porter to assist you during tracking and these are readily available at the park headquarters. Time allowed to spend with gorillas is 1 hour when you have found them and this is enough to ask all the questions about their behaviour. After the Gorilla Trek, you will receive a Gorilla Trekking Cerificate as a souvenir.

After the Gorilla Trek, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxing. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After breakfast depart from the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and head to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest Savannah National park in Uganda. You will reach the park in the afternoon for lunch, and then you will relax at the lodge. You will then have an evening game drive where you will encounter wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, Water bucks among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After your morning breakfast, the game rangers will take you for a guided morning walking safari where you will come close to the animals such as zebras, Giraffes, Common Elands, impalas, waterbucks among others. After you will have a morning game drive as you exit the park and set off to Entebbe International Airport.

Along the way you will have a stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for memorable photos and the famous water experiment that show that earth is separated into the Northern and Southern Hemisphere and you will have a chance to enjoy both the hemispheres. You will have an en-route lunch and you continue your journey to Entebbe International Airport.
