Into the Kingdom of Elephants, Tarangire National Park

Rise and shine, today is where the magic truly begins. After a hearty breakfast, your private safari expert guide loads up your exclusive safari vehicle and sets off toward Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most underrated and utterly magnificent wilderness areas.

Prepare to be completely awestruck. Tarangire is a landscape unlike anything you have ever seen: ancient baobab trees towering over rust-red earth, elephant herds numbering in the hundreds moving freely across sweeping open plains, and an extraordinary cast of wildlife, including lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, and over 550 species of birds filling the sky above you.

A gourmet bush lunch served in the heart of the wilderness is one of those simple, perfect moments, exactly why they came to Africa. Continue with afternoon game drives through the park's diverse ecosystems before making the scenic drive to the lush highlands of Karatu, where a wonderful dinner and a cool, comfortable overnight stay await.

A Natural Wonder Awaits, Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti

Get ready, today is the day that will stop you in your tracks and take your breath away. After an early breakfast, begin the drive to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders, and one of the most jaw-dropping places on the surface of this planet.

As you descend into the ancient volcanic floor, the sheer scale and beauty of what surrounds you is almost impossible to describe. Lions sprawl lazily in the morning grass. Elephant bulls move quietly. The rare and endangered black rhinoceros roams in relative safety, one of the most thrilling sightings in all of Africa. Hippos wallow noisily in muddy pools, and the crater's famous pink flamingos as far as the eye can see.

A crater-floor picnic lunch keeps the adventure gloriously uninterrupted, before ascending the rim in the late afternoon and continuing westward into the iconic Serengeti National Park. Arrive at your luxury tented lodge as the sun melts into the horizon.

The Greatest Stage on Earth, a Full Day in Serengeti

There is simply no place on earth like the Serengeti at sunrise. Wake before the light, step out of your room, and breathe in the cool morning air of the greatest wildlife wilderness on the planet. After a quick dawn breakfast, your private guide heads straight out onto the golden plains, because in the Serengeti, every single minute counts.

The morning game drive is pure magic. Lion prides on the move, cheetahs scanning the horizon from termite mounds, leopards draped elegantly over acacia branches, and elephant families moving silently through the tall grass, all bathed in the most spectacular golden light you have ever photographed.

Lunch is enjoyed in the bush, a beautiful, unhurried spread in the heart of the Serengeti, before your expert guide leads one final en route game drive as you begin the journey back toward Karatu. Arrive at your escarpment lodge in time for sundowner cocktails on the terrace, a spectacular dinner, and one last magical night under the African stars.

A Perfect Farewell, Lake Manyara to Kilimanjaro International Airport

Your final safari day is not winding down; it is delivering one last spectacular chapter. After a delicious breakfast, make your way to the enchanting Lake Manyara National Park, a compact but extraordinarily rich wilderness that Ernest Hemingway once called the most beautiful he had ever seen in Africa. And it is easy to understand why.

Spend the morning on a guided game drive through the park's lush groundwater forest and open floodplains, watching tree-climbing lions lounge in the branches above you, elephant herds moving through dense forest, and the lakeshore coming alive with flamingos, pelicans, and storks in their thousands.
After your final game drive, sit down to a warm and flavourful farewell lunch, a last taste of Tanzania's incredible hospitality, before beginning the drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight. Your private safari expert guide will be with you every step of the way, right up until the moment you walk through the departure doors.
