After breakfast, depart westward from Antsirabe, leaving the cool highlands behind for the warmer, drier landscapes of Madagascar’s Great West. Just 22 km away, stop in Betafo, a charming Merina village known for its traditional red-brick houses, terraced rice fields, and authentic rural life. Continue to Miandrivazo, once a stop of King Radama I and now one of the hottest towns on the island.
