Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your tour starts with a pick up at 7:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and a drive to the Masai Mara. This drive will take about 5 to 6.5 hours with a scenic stopover at the Great Rift Valley. You'll arrive in the Masai Mara shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp, have a hot lunch, and then depart for an afternoon game drive.

After the game drive, you'll head back to the lodge/camp to reach by around 5:30 or 6:00 PM, freshen up, and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner. Your overnight stay will be at your camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

You may choose to enjoy a relaxed breakfast before departing around 9:00 AM for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch, returning to the lodge in the late afternoon at approximately 6:00 PM.
Alternatively, you can opt for an early 6:00 AM game drive—one of the best times for wildlife viewing and a chance to witness predator activity. You will later return to the lodge for breakfast and some relaxation before heading out again for an afternoon game drive with a packed lunch. A stop will be made at a scenic picnic site before continuing game viewing until the park closes.

Return to the lodge around 6:00 PM for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Around 10:00 AM, after a relaxed breakfast, you will check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, approximately a 5-hour drive from the Masai Mara gate. Upon arrival at your lodge in Nakuru, you will check in, enjoy dinner, and relax for the rest of the day.

Note: An optional morning game drive in the Masai Mara can be arranged on your final day in the reserve at an additional park fee.
