Wake up to the sounds of the African bush for a full day of exploration in the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This morning is dedicated to tracking the "Big Five" and visiting the Northern White Rhino enclosure to meet the world’s last two remaining females of their kind.
​Using the superior off-road capabilities of your 4x4 Land Cruiser, you will traverse diverse habitats—from open plains to thick acacia woodlands—to find lions, leopards, and the rare Grevy's zebra.
After a picnic lunch or a hot meal at your lodge, continue your game drives in search of the conservancy’s successful black rhino population. After breakfast, depart the Mount Kenya region and descend into the breathtaking Great Rift Valley. Your destination is the serene Lake Elmenteita, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning landscapes and rich birdlife.
​Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon of exploration.
This alkaline lake is a vital breeding ground for pelicans and a frequent feeding spot for thousands of flamingos, painting the shoreline pink. Depending on your preference, you can enjoy a guided nature walk along the shores to get closer to the wildlife or embark on a game drive in the surrounding Soysambu Conservancy. ​If you prefer to stay on the ground, your 4x4 Land Cruiser is ready for an early morning hunt for predators. Use this day to explore the more remote areas of the reserve, such as the Mara Triangle or the sand rivers, where you can observe hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. This "Untamed" day is all about checking off any remaining animals on your list and soaking in the vast, open spaces of the savanna.

Enjoy a final breakfast at your lodge surrounded by the sounds of the African bush. After checking out, we begin our journey out of the Masai Mara National Reserve. While there is no formal game drive scheduled today, keep your binoculars ready; as we transit toward the park gate, it is very common to spot giraffes, zebras, and elephants bidding you farewell.
​Once outside the reserve, relax in the comfort of your 4x4 Land Cruiser as we travel back toward Nairobi.
We will stop at the Great Rift Valley escarpment for a final panoramic photo opportunity before arriving in the city by late afternoon. Your driver will provide a drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
