Nairobi to Mara

Your tour starts with a pickup at 7:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel or airport, followed by a drive to the Masai Mara. This drive will take about 5 to 6.5 hours with a scenic stopover at the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in the Masai Mara shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp, have a hot lunch and then depart for an afternoon game drive.

After the game drive, we head back to camp, arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 PM. Freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner. Overnight at your camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart with packed lunch for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Today will be dedicated to exploring the vast plains and searching for the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos. Your experienced guide will take you through different wildlife viewing areas where you may also spot cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and large herds of antelopes.

During the migration season, you may have the opportunity to witness wildebeest and zebras crossing through the reserve as they move across the Mara ecosystem. Lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic picnic spot inside the park before continuing with afternoon game drives.

Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Today offers another exciting opportunity to experience the beauty of the Maasai Mara at a more relaxed pace. You may choose an early morning game drive, when predators are most active and the sunrise over the savannah creates excellent photography moments.

After breakfast, continue exploring different sections of the reserve with your guide, including river areas, open plains, and wildlife-rich regions depending on recent animal movements. Optional activities such as a Maasai village visit or hot air balloon safari can also be arranged at an additional cost.

A packed lunch will be served during the day as you continue enjoying wildlife sightings and breathtaking scenery before returning to camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.
