Your safari adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel or residence in Nairobi. Depart the city and journey south through the scenic Athi plains and traditional Maasai countryside, enjoying views of open savannahs, acacia trees, local homesteads, and grazing livestock. As you approach Amboseli National Park, the majestic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro gradually appears on the horizon.

Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and check-in. After some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, head out for your first afternoon game drive across Amboseli’s vast plains, famous for their large elephant herds and spectacular scenery. Keep watch for giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and predators such as lions or cheetahs roaming the park beneath the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Wake up early for breakfast at the lodge before heading out for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park. The morning hours offer some of the best wildlife sightings, with chances to see large elephant herds moving across the open plains, often set against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day.

Spend the day exploring Amboseli’s diverse ecosystems, from wide savannahs and acacia woodlands to lush green swamps fed by underground springs. These habitats attract a wide range of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, antelopes, and numerous bird species.

At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at Observation Hill, one of the park’s most scenic viewpoints, offering sweeping panoramic views of the entire Amboseli ecosystem. After lunch, continue with your afternoon game drive as wildlife becomes more active in the cooler hours of the day.

After breakfast, depart Amboseli National Park and journey toward Tsavo West National Park, a spectacular wilderness famed for its dramatic volcanic scenery, rolling hills, lava flows, and diverse wildlife. Along the drive, enjoy changing landscapes as the open plains of Amboseli gradually give way to rugged terrain, acacia woodlands, and ancient lava fields, with occasional views of local villages and distant mountain ranges.

Enter Tsavo West keeping watch for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, antelopes, and possibly predators hidden within the bush. The park’s rich ecosystems and breathtaking scenery make every drive an adventure.

After breakfast, depart Tsavo West and drive into Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and oldest parks, known for its vast open savannahs, red-dust elephants, and dramatic wilderness scenery. Enter the park with a game drive en route to your lodge, beginning your first encounters with its expansive landscapes.

Tsavo East is famous for its large elephant herds coated in red soil, along with lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and abundant birdlife. The open plains allow for wide, uninterrupted wildlife viewing across the horizon.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and check-in. After a short rest, head out for an afternoon game drive exploring the Galana River region and surrounding plains. After an early breakfast at your lodge, embark on a final morning game drive through the vast wilderness of Tsavo East National Park.
