You will be picked up from Maun Airport by their guide, Fred, who will assist with luggage and escort you to the transfer vehicle for the journey to camp. Upon arrival, you settle into spacious mid-range tents larger than 3x3 meters, furnished with beds, a private veranda, and an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, shower, and sink. Camp staff takes care of all camp chores, including setup, meals, and cleaning, ensuring a comfortable and relaxed stay in the wilderness. You will be located at this campsite for the duration of the tour.

After a light refreshment, the afternoon unfolds with a gentle introduction to the surroundings, including a short guided walk around the camp area. As the sun begins to set, you can unwind with drinks before dinner while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and sounds of the bush on your first evening.

A full day in the Okavango Delta unfolds at a gentle, unhurried pace. You'll begin with a light breakfast before setting out on a guided walking safari, exploring the smaller details of the wilderness such as tracks, plants, and birdlife. Returning to camp, a relaxed brunch is served, followed by time to unwind. Depending on conditions, you may enjoy fishing or a refreshing swim in safe, clear Delta channels.

In the afternoon, a mokoro excursion offers a peaceful, water-based safari through quiet reed-lined waterways, with time for wildlife viewing and a scenic sundowner on the water. The day concludes back at Camp Buffalo with a hearty dinner shared in a warm, atmospheric setting under the African night sky.

You spend a full day exploring deeper into the Delta by mokoro, moving through quieter, more remote channels where the landscape feels untouched and intimate. You glide silently through reed-lined waterways, taking in the soft sounds of nature and the slow rhythm of the water.

Along the way, you will pause on small islands for gentle guided walks, offering a closer look at tracks, plants, and the finer details of the ecosystem. You enjoy relaxed meals in scenic, shaded spots, with time for photography and quiet observation of wildlife and birdlife.

As the day unfolds, you will continue drifting through winding channels, soaking in the stillness and beauty of the surroundings. You return to camp in the late afternoon for a fire-lit evening, sharing stories under the stars.
