Your journey begins with a 5:00 AM departure from Kigali to reach Akagera National Park by sunrise.

Spend the morning on a game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, searching for lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffalo.

After a picnic lunch overlooking Lake Ihema, you will exit the park and begin a scenic afternoon drive across the country toward Musanze.

This 4- to 5-hour transit takes you from the low-lying plains to the base of the Virunga Mountains, where you will check into your accommodation in musanze at isange paradise resort for an early night.

Rwanda mountain gorilla trekking

After an early breakfast our driver will drive you to Kinigi headquarters of Volcanoes National Park for a 7:00 AM briefing.

You will be assigned a gorilla family and spend the morning trekking through the bamboo forests, Upon locating the group, you will have a transformative hour observing their social interactions and daily life.

Following the trek, enjoy a well-earned lunch in Musanze before the 2.5 hour drive back to Kigali, arriving in the late afternoon, go to Kigali Genocide Memorial then get ready for your flight or stay at your hotel of residence in Kigali.
