Your journey begins with a 5:00 AM departure from Kigali to reach Akagera National Park by sunrise.

Spend the morning on a game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, searching for lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffalo.

After a picnic lunch overlooking Lake Mihindi lake, you will exit the park through Kilala plains for more animal viewing then transfer to Kigali then check into Haven Hotel and Rest for the next day Mountain Gorilla trekking.

Rwanda mountain gorilla trekking

By 4:30AM, you will meet our driver Guide for scenic transfer to Musanze, The home to Mountain Gorillas then head to Kinigi headquarters of Volcanoes National Park for a 7:00 AM briefing.

You will be assigned a gorilla family and spend the morning trekking through the bamboo forests, Upon locating the group, you will have a transformative hour observing their social interactions and daily life.

Following the trek, enjoy a well-earned lunch in Musanze before the 2.5 hour drive back to Kigali, arriving in the late afternoon, go to Kigali Genocide Memorial then get ready for your flight or stay at your hotel of residence in Kigali.
