You'll enjoy accommodation at this hotel as you prepare for your safari the following day. As part of Tanzania Roadside Expeditions Ltd's 10th-anniversary celebration, you will also indulge in a special dinner.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park

After breakfast today, you will be picked up from Tulia Hotel &SPA by your safari guide. As you journey to Tarangire National Park, you'll traverse the Maasai plains adorned with scattered acacia trees. Along the way, you'll pass Maasai adorned in their vibrant attire, tending to their cattle, riding bicycles, and some using donkey carts.
Tarangire National Park spans nearly 3,000 square kilometers and is renowned for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. The park derives its name from the Tarangire River, which meanders through its terrain. During the dry season (June - November), Tarangire becomes particularly remarkable as vast wildlife populations converge around the Tarangire River, their primary water source. The park's diverse habitats support over 2,000 elephants and host more than 500 bird species.

Serengeti stands as one of the largest parks in the country, characterized by its expansive open plains that evoke a profound sense of freedom.
Your journey will take you alongside Lake Natron, a significant area within the Massailand region before you arrive at the entrance gate of Serengeti.
This semi-arid landscape acts as a magnet for a variety of waterbirds, serving as a crucial breeding and nesting ground for the lesser flamingo. Upon your arrival in the Serengeti, your initial game drive will commence as you make your way towards your accommodations.

Depart early for the iconic Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Highlands with scenic views along the way.
Enjoy a game drive en route, with chances to witness predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as large herds of herbivores roaming the vast plains.
After an exciting day, return to accommodation Serengeti wildebeest Camp for dinner and relaxation.

Ngorongoro Crater

Following your breakfast, you'll embark on a remarkable journey to the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable safari experience. This thick volcanic crater is the pinnacle of Ngorongoro's natural wonders, standing as the world's most significant unflooded and unbroken caldera.
As you descend to the crater floor, you'll have the opportunity to explore its remarkable features, including Lake Magadi. This expansive yet shallow alkaline lake rests in the southwestern corner of the crater, adding to the allure of this exceptional location. After this, you will drive back to Arusha and this will mark the end of your tour.
