Stop for lunch in Kisoro or Kabale before arriving at your lodge in the late afternoon to relax and prepare for the gorilla trekking experience.

Day 2

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

With PrideMark Safaris, after an early breakfast you will head to the park headquarters in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will then be allocated a gorilla family and guided on trekking rules before setting off with an experienced ranger into the forest. The trek may take 2 to 6 hours depending on the gorillas’ location, followed by a memorable hour in their presence.

After the experience, you’ll transfer to the stunning Lake Bunyonyi, known for its islands and scenic hills. Upon arrival, check in at your lakeside lodge and relax as you enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Lake Bunyonyi – Return to Kigali

With PrideMark Safaris, you’ll begin the morning with a relaxed breakfast overlooking the beautiful waters and islands of Lake Bunyonyi. If time allows, you may enjoy a peaceful canoe ride to explore nearby islands such as Punishment Island, or take a walk along the lakeshore.

Afterwards, you’ll start your return journey to Kigali, passing through Kabale and crossing the Katuna border back into Rwanda. Following border formalities, you’ll continue to Kigali, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening for drop-off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your memorable 3-day adventure.
