Day 1

Arusha to Central Serengeti National Park

Arusha to Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will be met by your Maasailand Adventure guide at your hotel, and your journey towards Serengeti National Park will begin. You will travel through the scenic highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a brief stop at the Ngorongoro Viewpoint to admire the breathtaking caldera.

Enjoy a picnic lunch en route, before continuing into the vast plains of the Serengeti. Upon arrival, you will begin your first afternoon game drive in the Central Serengeti, known for its year-round wildlife and excellent predator sightings, including lions, leopards and cheetahs.

In the evening, you will be transferred to Serenity Camp for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 2

Northern Serengeti National Park

Northern Serengeti National Park

Today, you will depart Central Serengeti and journey north into the remote regions of Serengeti National Park, the prime location for witnessing the Great Migration. This day is dedicated to following the movement of the herds as they gather near the Mara River.

With your expert guide, you will track wildebeest and zebra, positioning for the best chance to witness a dramatic river crossing – one of nature’s most powerful spectacles. The area is also rich in predators, including lions, crocodiles, cheetahs, and hippos, often seen taking advantage of the migration.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush while staying close to the action, maximising your time with the herds.

In the evening, you will head to Siringit Migration Camp in the Northern Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay, perfectly located for continued migration viewing.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a final morning game drive in the northern region of Serengeti National Park, focusing on the Great Migration near the Mara River. With your guide, you will continue tracking the herds for another chance to witness dramatic river crossings and predator activity.

Later in the morning, you will begin your journey south, enjoying a game drive en route through the Serengeti’s changing landscapes. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at the gate, before exiting. Your journey will continue through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area to your accommodation in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

By late afternoon, you will arrive at Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp, located near the Ngorongoro Crater, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the following day’s exploration.

Following an early breakfast, you will descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich areas, home to a remarkable concentration of animals within its enclosed caldera.

As you explore the crater floor, you may encounter elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of birdlife, with over 500 species recorded in the area. The crater also offers one of the best chances in Tanzania to spot the endangered black rhino.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot near a hippo pool, surrounded by breathtaking views and abundant wildlife.
After enjoying an afternoon game drive, you will ascend the crater walls and continue back to Ang'ata Ngorongoro Camp for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on an unforgettable day on safari.

Today you will depart for Tarangire National Park for a final game drive. Known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, the park offers diverse landscapes and excellent wildlife viewing. You may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and a variety of birdlife as you explore.

After enjoying a picnic lunch within the park, you will continue your afternoon game drive along the Tarangire River, a vital water source that attracts abundant wildlife, especially during the dry season.
