Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. Upon arrival, begin a full-day game drive exploring the park’s diverse landscapes including river valleys, swamps and open savannah. Tarangire is home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes and predators such as lions and leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park surrounded by wildlife and scenic views. Continue game viewing in the afternoon along the Tarangire River, where animals gather in large numbers, especially during the dry season. Later in the evening, drive to your lodge or camp in the Karatu or Mto wa Mbu area for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro highlands and Maasai villages along the way. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley and rolling landscapes during the drive. Arrive in the Serengeti in the afternoon and begin your first game drive across the endless plains, famous for its rich wildlife and predator sightings. Look out for lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. Your guide will take you through wildlife-rich areas while sharing insights about the ecosystem and animal behavior. Start the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park when predators are most active and wildlife viewing is at its best. After breakfast, continue game viewing while gradually exiting the Serengeti toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
