Continue to the Mara, arriving in time for check-in at your lodge and lunch. In the afternoon, you may choose to enjoy an optional game drive in search of the reserve’s incredible wildlife or visit a traditional Maasai Village (optional) for an authentic cultural experience. Today is dedicated to exploring the spectacular Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife destinations. Depart the lodge at approximately 6:45 a.m. with picnic lunch boxes for an exciting full-day game drive lasting until around 4:00 p.m. Cover vast areas of the reserve in search of the famous Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—along with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, wildebeest, gazelles, hippos, crocodiles, and an incredible variety of birdlife. If you’re traveling during the migration season (typically July to October), you may also witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles. For an unforgettable start to the day, you can choose the optional hot air balloon safari, followed by a memorable bush breakfast after landing. Enjoy unlimited game viewing throughout the day before returning to Masai Mara Sopa Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park. Before leaving, guests who wish may enjoy an optional visit to a traditional Maasai Village if they did not do so earlier. Depending on the day’s schedule, lunch will be provided either as a packed picnic or en route. Upon arrival in Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoy an exciting afternoon game drive lasting approximately 3–4 hours, where you’ll have the chance to spot rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, buffaloes, flamingos (season permitting), and many other wildlife species. Later, proceed to Sarova Woodlands Hotel & Spa for check-in, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, a scenic drive of approximately two hours. The day is a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, with time to enjoy a selection of optional activities, including a boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a guided walk on Crescent Island, where you can get close to free-roaming wildlife. Later, head to Hell’s Gate National Park for a game drive through its dramatic landscapes. Guests may also choose to enjoy optional cycling or a guided walking safari within the park. In the evening, proceed to Lake Naivasha Resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, if time did not allow all planned activities to be completed the previous day, the morning will be used to finish them before departing for Amboseli National Park. Afterwards, begin the scenic drive south through Kenya’s beautiful countryside. This is the longest road journey of the safari, so the day is planned at a comfortable pace with safety as the top priority. While traffic conditions may occasionally extend travel time, your professional driver-guide will ensure a smooth and safe journey. Upon arrival, check in at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or a similar mid-range lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before setting out at approximately 10:00 a.m. for a full-day game drive in the spectacular Amboseli National Park. The later departure is intentional, as the cool morning temperatures around Mount Kilimanjaro often keep many animals less active and harder to spot. As the day warms up, wildlife becomes more visible, increasing your chances of rewarding sightings. Spend the day exploring Amboseli’s open plains, famous for its large herds of free-roaming elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, and a variety of birdlife, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. The game drive continues until approximately 5:00 p.m., allowing plenty of time to experience the park’s remarkable scenery and wildlife before returning to Amboseli Sopa Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

The journey continues via Namanga, on the Kenya–Tanzania border, where guests continuing to Tanzania will be dropped off for the next leg of their adventure. Afterwards, proceed to Nairobi, arriving at approximately 2:00 p.m. Guests will be dropped off free of charge at either Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) or our Nairobi office. Hotel drop-offs can also be arranged upon request at an additional cost, with reliable Uber services readily available. This marks the end of your unforgettable Kenyan safari, leaving you with incredible memories of wildlife, landscapes, and authentic African hospitality.
