Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your Kenya safari tour begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi in a comfortable pop-up roof 4x4 safari vehicle. Traveling through the scenic Great Rift Valley, you’ll enjoy breathtaking viewpoints and views of rural Kenya before continuing toward the Masai Mara.

Arrive at your safari lodge or tented camp in time for lunch and some relaxation before heading out on your first exciting afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara’s rolling plains are home to abundant wildlife including elephants, lions, zebras, buffalo, giraffes, and antelope. As the sun sets across the savannah, return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Spend a full day exploring the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve on morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is one of Africa’s richest wildlife ecosystems and offers exceptional opportunities to see predators and grazing animals in their natural habitat.

Your guide will track wildlife across the plains in search of the Big 5 — lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos. Depending on the season, you may also witness part of the Great Migration as wildebeest and zebras move across the Mara ecosystem.
