Guests are collected from their accommodation in Maun and transferred to the mokoro station where the safari begins. After meeting local guides, travel by traditional dugout canoe through the peaceful waterways of the Okavango Delta, surrounded by beautiful scenery and abundant birdlife. Guided nature walks on nearby islands offer opportunities to learn about the ecosystem and track wildlife. The afternoon is spent exploring the delta channels before arriving at camp. Optional scenic flights and accommodation upgrades are available for an extra cost.

Exploring Boro River

Guests spend a full day exploring the Okavango Delta by mokoro and on guided safaris. Early morning activities focus on tracking wildlife and observing birds in their natural habitat, followed by leisurely paddling through quiet channels surrounded by papyrus and water lilies. Experienced local guides share insights into the ecosystem, animal behaviour, and traditional uses of plants. The afternoon offers more mokoro exploration and relaxation at camp. Optional fishing excursions and extended walking safaris are available for an extra cost.

Day 3

Arrival and Delta Experience

After breakfast, guests enjoy a final short mokoro excursion or guided walk, depending on water levels and time. This last experience offers a peaceful farewell to the Okavango Delta’s unique landscapes and wildlife. Guests are then transferred back by mokoro and vehicle to Maun. Drop-off is provided at the guest’s accommodation or a central point in Maun. Optional scenic flights or cultural experiences can be arranged for an extra cost before departure.
