Day 2-3

Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will depart Arusha and begin your journey to Central Serengeti, passing through breath taking landscapes and small villages along the way. The Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is renowned for its vast savannahs and incredible wildlife. Arrive in the Central Serengeti in time for a thrilling afternoon game drive, where you may spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and countless other species roaming freely. This region, also known as Seronera, is particularly famous for its year-round wildlife and iconic landscapes dotted with acacia trees and kopjes (rock formations). As the sun sets, you will head to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight. You will spend 2 nights in Serengeti.

After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in the Central Serengeti before making your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon reaching the crater rim, take in the breath taking view of this massive caldera, often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." This unique ecosystem supports a variety of animals, including the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—as well as wildebeest, zebras, and hippos. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the crater, surrounded by unparalleled natural beauty. In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and begin your journey back to Arusha, reflecting on the incredible experiences of your safari. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or directly to the airport for your onward journey.
