1-Day Volcanoes National Park Safari

Your day begins with an early 4:30 AM pick-up from your hotel in Kigali by a professional guide from PrideMark Safaris. Enjoy a scenic 2.5-hour drive through Rwanda’s rolling green hills to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze.

On arrival at the park headquarters in Kinigi, you will complete registration and be assigned a gorilla family. After a briefing by the park rangers at around 7:00 AM, you will begin your gorilla trekking adventure. The hike may take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas, but the experience is truly rewarding as you spend one magical hour observing these incredible primates in the wild.

After the trek, return to the park headquarters for a short rest and certificate handover. Enjoy a packed or local lunch before driving back to Kigali, arriving in the early evening (around 5–6 PM) for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
