After breakfast aboard the Zambezi Queen, guests may choose between two unforgettable morning activities. Enjoy a guided water-based fishing excursion on the Chobe River, where all fishing is strictly catch and release. Experience the excitement of targeting the legendary Tigerfish, one of Africa’s most prized freshwater game fish, while surrounded by the spectacular scenery and wildlife of the Chobe region.

Alternatively, guests can join a guided water-based photographic safari. The Chobe River offers exceptional wildlife viewing, tranquil surroundings, and beautiful golden light, making it a paradise for wildlife photographers. Guests will explore the river aboard a custom-designed photographic safari boat.

After lunch onboard, continue with a guided cultural tour to a traditional Namibian village on the floodplains of the East Caprivi. Meet the Subiya tribe and gain insight into their traditions, farming practices, and daily life in this historic village.

In the early morning aboard the Zambezi Queen, enjoy breakfast while taking in the final views of the Chobe River. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have the opportunity to join a last guided water-based game viewing excursion. This peaceful morning cruise offers one final chance to witness elephants along the riverbanks, hippos in the channels, crocodiles basking, and abundant birdlife in the soft early light. It is a memorable way to conclude your safari, with excellent photographic opportunities and a calm, scenic atmosphere on the water.

After the activity, return to the vessel to freshen up and prepare for departure. Guests will then be transferred by boat and road to Kasane and onward to the airport for their onward flight. For those with early departures, transfers will take place directly after breakfast without the morning activity, ensuring a smooth and timely journey.
