6-Day Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli Tour

Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your tour starts with pick up at 6:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and drive to Masai Mara. This drive will take about 5 to 6.5 hours with a scenic stopover at Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Masai Mara shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp, have hot lunch and have some time to relax in your hotel. Later in the evening depart for game drive.

After the game drive, we head back to lodge/camp to reach by around 6:00 PM, freshen up and enjoy a freshly prepared Dinner. Overnight at your lodge.

Masai Mara

The second day is dedicated to exploring the Masai Mara with a full day of game drives. After breakfast, set out with a packed lunch to traverse different areas of the reserve. The Masai Mara’s varied landscapes and abundant wildlife provide endless opportunities for observation and photography. As the day progresses, you may encounter impressive predator-prey interactions, especially if you’re visiting during the Great Migration.

After a day full of wildlife exploration and excitement, return to your lodge in evening at 5:30-6 PM. Freshen up and enjoy your freshly prepared for dinner and night stay at camp.

Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, checkout and Depart to Lake Naivasha which is about 5 hours drive.

Check-in to your camp/lodge and then proceed for Boat Ride to Crescent Island where you will be doing a nature walk next to zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, waterbucks, antelopes and many types of birds. Return back to your camp/lodges in Naivasha for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli

After an early breakfast, depart to Amboseli which is about 5.5 hours drive. Upon arrival, check-in to lodge, have lunch and take time to relax in your hotel. Later in the evening embark on game drives till about 6:00 PM before returning to your camp/lodge for a freshly prepared dinner. Overnight stay at your Camp/Lodge.

Amboseli game drives - kilimanjaro views

After breakfast, depart for morning game drives around 7:00 AM and continue till about 10:30 AM. Return back to camp to relax and have lunch and then in the afternoon around 3:00 PM proceed for afternoon game drives for 3 hours and return to camp before 6:30 PM.

Note: Since Amboseli is relatively hot, game drives around noon are not usually recommended but can be arranged if you are interested.

Amboseli to Nairobi

This is our last safari day – By now you should be checking off your list of animal sightings but there’s always a next time for more. After breakfast, check out and depart for Nairobi. The tour concludes with your arrival in Nairobi, marking the end of your memorable safari adventure through Kenya's most iconic destinations. Depending on your further travel plans, you will transferred to your city hotel or the JKIA airport for your return home flight.
