Nairobi to Masai Mara

Y6:30 AM – Meet your professional driver-guide at your location. Board your private 4x4 safari vehicle.

7:30 AM – Great Rift Valley Viewpoint Stop: Pause for a brief break at the scenic escarpment. Enjoy panoramic views of the world's largest valley. Capture photos of the vast landscape stretching across Africa.

12:30 PM – Arrive in Maasai Mara & Lodge Check-in after about 6.5 hours of road trip. Savor a freshly prepared lunch and take time to unpack and relax.

4:00 PM – Embark on your first game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve. Track iconic big cats including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Spot diverse wildlife ranging from elephants to wildebeest and zebras.

6:00 PM – Park Exit as the sun goes down. Return to your safari accommodation for a warm dinner. Enjoy a relaxing overnight stay under the stars.

Maasai Mara Full-Day Game Drive & Great Migration Experience

Coordinate directly with your private driver-guide the evening before for a fully customized safari itinerary tailored to your wildlife interests. Choose between an early sunrise departure or a more relaxed morning start.

8:00 AM – Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve. Set out on a comprehensive, all-day wildlife viewing expedition. Track the Big Five and major predators across the open savannah. Explore premier wildlife hotspots at your own pace with no strict hourly limits.

At around 1PM:Enjoy a packed picnic lunch at a scenic safari viewpoint at no extra cost.

2:30 PM – Head toward the Mara River to look for massive river crossings. Witness the breathtaking Great Migration (July to October) as millions of wildebeest travel the plains.

4:30 PM – Continue exploring different loops of the reserve as temperatures drop. Capture stunning golden-hour photographs of the African landscape.

6:00 PM – Return to Lodge for dinner and enjoy your overnight stay.

Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake that is a popular tourist destination in Kenya for both locals and foreigners.

Arrive in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will embark on a boat ride that will take you to Crescent Island for a walking safari. The visit is a unique and memorable experience. Explore breathtaking scenery with views across the beautiful lake and on the land wild animals grazing. The island is home to a wide range of wildlife in their natural habitat. It is an experience to walk in the wild near the wild animals and have photos taken with them.

Later, take the boat ride back and head to the hotel for relaxation -The hotels we book at the lake offer beautiful natural spaces where you can see numerous bird species among the trees as well as spot some animals ranging from Zebras, waterbucks to warthogs.

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli

After an early breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and begin your 5.5 hours drive journey to Amboseli National Park, traveling through diverse landscapes that range from lush highlands to open plains.
Enjoy views of rural towns, farms, and local communities along the way as you head south towards the Kenya–Tanzania border.
Arrive in Amboseli in the afternoon and check into your lodge or camp, have lunch and some rest before heading out for an exciting afternoon game drive.
Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. As you explore the park, look out for elephants moving across the plains, along with lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife.
As the day comes to an end, enjoy the beautiful backdrop of Kilimanjaro before returning to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Amboseli game drives - Kilimanjaro views

Start your day with an early breakfast before departing for a morning game drive at 7:00 AM.
This is the prime time to spot active wildlife before the heat sets in.

Explore the park until 10:30 AM, then return to your Amboseli safari camp to relax and enjoy a fresh lunch.

At 3:00 PM, head out for a 3-hour afternoon game drive, returning to camp before 6:30 PM.

Amboseli Travel Tip:
Because Amboseli National Park can get really hot, midday game drives are not recommended. However, we can arrange full-day game drives upon request.

Optional Amboseli Hot Air Balloon Safari:
You can Upgrade your experience with an early magical sunrise hot air balloon flight over Amboseli ($450 per person, exclusions apply). Enjoy a champagne breakfast landing, followed by a full-day game drive with a packed lunch.

7:30 AM –Leisurely Breakfast & Safari Lodge Checkout: Today Savor a final relaxed breakfast at your Amboseli camp or lodge. Complete your checkout formalities with the front desk.
8:30 AM – Scenic Highway Drive Back to Nairobi: Relax on a comfortable road trip heading north. Pass through beautiful landscapes of the Athi plains.
2:30 PM – Arrive in Nairobi & Custom Final Drop-off: Reach Kenya's capital city by the early afternoon. Transfer directly back to your chosen Nairobi city hotel. Alternatively, enjoy a free transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your flight home.
