Arusha to Tarangire National Park Then Karatu

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, giant baobab trees, lions, giraffes, zebras, and seasonal wildlife migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Later drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

This is one of the best times to spot predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs hunting across the endless plains. After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with wildlife viewing along the way. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game drive in one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations. The crater offers excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five including black rhino, lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards. After breakfast at Mvuli Mountain Lodge in Karatu, depart for Mto wa Mbu village for a cultural and nature experience. This vibrant village is well known for its diverse local communities, beautiful scenery, and traditional Tanzanian culture. Guests will enjoy activities such as a guided village walk, local market visit, banana plantation tour, and an opportunity to learn about local farming practices and traditional lifestyles. A local lunch can also be arranged during the visit. After the activities, continue driving back to Arusha where the safari ends in the late afternoon.
