Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will be picked up by our representative and transferred to the Masai Mara National Reserve, driving for about 5 hours with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley for scenic views. One of East Africa’s most famous reserves, the Mara features rolling grasslands and diverse wildlife. You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive where you may see lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelles, and many bird species before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Gorilla trekking

After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a briefing on gorilla trekking. The trek is unpredictable in duration, depending on the movement of the mountain gorillas. You will set off with a packed lunch, drinking water, and are advised to wear strong hiking boots and a light rain jacket due to the forest’s changing weather. The trek may take 1–6 hours, and once the gorillas are found, you will spend one hour with them for conservation purposes before returning to the lodge for lunch.

After breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside one of the world’s natural wonders. The crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera and a sanctuary for dense wildlife populations, including rare black rhinos. Due to its high walls, many animals remain within the area, offering excellent chances to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, antelopes, and more. With luck, you may spot the Big Five in a single game drive before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
