Depart Nairobi early in the morning, heading south toward the majestic Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, you will check into your tented camp for lunch and a brief rest. In the afternoon, set out in your 4x4 Jeep for an extensive game drive. This park is world-famous for its massive herds of free-ranging elephants and the breathtaking, iconic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Keep your camera ready for sightings of lions, cheetahs, and diverse birdlife around the seasonal swamps. You will return to the camp as the sun sets over the plains for dinner and your overnight stay.

Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi

Rise early to catch the savannah coming to life during a final sunrise game drive. This is the best time to see Mount Kilimanjaro clearly before the clouds gather, providing a stunning backdrop for photos of the park's famous elephant bulls. After exploring the marshes and plains for any predators you may have missed on day one, you will return to the camp for a late breakfast.
