Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from the hotel after breakfast and transferred to the departure point for a briefing before heading to the Masai Mara. Along the way we will stop at the Great Rift Valley escarpment, which was formed through volcanic activity many years ago, then proceed to Narok Town for refreshments and a washroom break.

We will arrive at the Mara in time for lunch at the camp and then heard into the reserve for a game drive until sunset. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, and with your cameras and mobile phones ready for taking photos, the driver-guide will pick you up for a full day of game viewing within the reserve. You will be able to capture the sunrise and have the chance to spot several animals that call the Masai Mara home.

You will traverse the vast plains to the Mara River, where the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras takes place. If you wish, you may take an optional walking safari along the riverbanks under the guidance of armed rangers. Tips for the rangers are at your discretion.

Later, you will stop at the Hippo Pool picnic site for lunch while watching the hippos and crocodiles. After lunch, continue with game drives until late in the evening. You will then exit the reserve and drive back to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

You will be picked up from the camp for an optional visit to a Maasai village, where you can experience cultural activities such as traditional dances, songs, jumping performances, and other entertainment by the local Maasai people. Afterwards, return to the camp for breakfast before departing for Lake Nakuru National Park.

You will stop for lunch before arriving in Nakuru in the afternoon. You may choose to take a city walk in Nakuru as you wait for dinner.

Day 4

Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel as your guide briefs you about Lake Nakuru National Park. You will then drive to the main gate and embark on a safari to see black and white rhinoceroses, buffaloes, lions, leopards, flamingos, pelicans, baboons, impalas, gazelles, and the many other animals and bird species that inhabit the park.

You will make a stop at the Baboon Cliff viewpoint before departing for Naivasha. Lunch will be en route and you will arrive at Lake Naivasha in the late afternoon.

You will spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. If you wish, your guide can take you to Lake Naivasha for an optional boat ride at an additional cost, where you can enjoy birdwatching and observe hippopotamuses. Later, you will return to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel as you prepare for a day of activities at Hell’s Gate National Park. You can enjoy a safari drive with your guide or choose to cycle through the park, covering the 14 km route to the gorge. You will go on a guided nature walk before returning to the main gate.

After exiting the park, drive to Amboseli National Park with a stopover for lunch along the way. You will arrive at your campsite in time for sunset, dinner, and a bonfire.

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from the camp and transfer you with a picnic lunch in hand to Amboseli National Park for a game drive. The park is home to large herds of elephants and is one of the best places to view the famous Mount Kilimanjaro, which is often visible in the early morning when weather conditions are favorable.

Traverse the vast landscapes of the park, which support a wide variety of wildlife. Amboseli is particularly known its swampy areas where elephants bathe in the mud and other animals gather to drink water. These watering areas also provide excellent hunting opportunities for predators.

Later in the afternoon, you will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

After completing the immigration formalities, you will continue to Arusha, arriving later in the day. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel, where accommodations are provided on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Dinner will be at your own expense.

Upon arrival at the main gate, you will complete registration formalities before continuing with a game drive to the campsite located in Central Serengeti. This marks the beginning of your exploration of Tanzania’s renowned wildlife region. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

With a packed lunch in hand, you will descend into the crater for game viewing. You will enjoy excellent wildlife sightings as you drive down, including black rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and many other animals.

After a picnic lunch in the crater, you will ascend to the crater rim and drive back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at a budget hotel booked on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Dinner will be at your own expense.
