Arrival & Chobe River Boat Cruise

Your safari adventure begins with a transfer from Victoria Falls International Airport to Chobe National Park via the Kazungula Border. Upon arrival, you will settle into your mobile camping accommodation surrounded by the untamed African wilderness. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the famous Chobe River where large herds of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, and other wildlife gather along the riverbanks. The cruise offers incredible wildlife viewing opportunities together with breathtaking African sunset views. After the activity, return to camp where dinner will be served around the campfire under the stars before retiring for the night in the heart of the bush.

Wake up to the peaceful sounds of nature and enjoy freshly brewed coffee or tea followed by a light continental breakfast. This morning, you will head out on a thrilling game drive through Chobe National Park, famous for its massive elephant population and rich wildlife. During the safari, you may encounter lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelope, and numerous bird species while exploring the park’s diverse landscapes. After the safari, return to camp for a delicious bush brunch and some relaxation time. In the afternoon, you will head out once again for another exciting game drive, offering excellent opportunities to experience the wildlife and beauty of Chobe during sunset hours. After the activity, return to camp for an evening of relaxation around the campfire.

Early Morning Safari, Transfer to Victoria Falls & Dinner Cruise

Start the day with an early morning game drive in Chobe National Park, one of the best times to observe predators such as lions and wild dogs while they are still active. The cool morning temperatures also provide excellent wildlife viewing opportunities as animals begin their day across the park. After the safari, return to camp for breakfast and a hearty bush brunch before preparing for your transfer to Victoria Falls.

Upon arrival, check into Shongwe Lookout Lodge (or similar), where you can relax and freshen up before heading out for a memorable dinner cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. Enjoy a relaxing evening on the river while taking in the breathtaking African sunset, surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a variety of birdlife. A delicious dinner together with selected drinks will be served onboard as you unwind and experience the magical atmosphere of the Zambezi River at night.

Guided Victoria Falls Tour, Bush Dinner & Night Safari

After breakfast, your guide will collect you for a guided tour of the spectacular Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. During the tour, you will walk through the rainforest while viewing the magnificent waterfalls from several scenic viewpoints. Your guide will share fascinating information about the history, formation, and local significance of the falls, also known as Mosi-oa-Tunya “The Smoke That Thunders.” After the tour, you may enjoy lunch in town before continuing your adventure with an afternoon game drive in a nearby private reserve. As the sun sets, you will enjoy a traditional bush barbeque dinner around an open fire before heading out on an exciting evening game drive in search of nocturnal wildlife and predators active after dark. After the safari experience, return to the lodge for your overnight stay.
