Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s vibrant capital city. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a guided city tour including the National Archaeological Museum, home to the famous fossil “Lucy”, believed to be one of the earliest human ancestors. Continue to the Ethnographic Museum and St. George’s Cathedral, while learning about Ethiopia’s rich history, culture, and religious heritage. Travel through dramatic mountain scenery with stops at panoramic viewpoints including Kosoye and Buyit Ras. Return to Lalibela later in the day and enjoy the atmosphere of this historic town.
