Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

After an early breakfast, transfer to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for your gorilla trekking briefing. Here, park rangers will share important information about the trekking experience and mountain gorilla conservation before assigning groups and guides.

Begin your trek through the lush rainforest in search of one of Rwanda’s habituated gorilla families. The duration and difficulty of the trek can vary depending on the gorillas’ location, but the reward is extraordinary.

Once located, spend one unforgettable hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat as they feed, interact, and move through the forest.
