For travelers choosing the road option, the journey becomes part of the adventure itself. You will cross the famous Namanga Border, the gateway between Kenya and Tanzania, while enjoying breathtaking views. Along the way, experience the authentic rhythm of local life from Maasai women carrying water buckets on their heads, to herds of cattle and goats grazing across the open plains.
As you travel through the wildlife corridors connecting Kenya and Tanzania, keep your camera ready for possible sightings of zebras, giraffes, antelopes & other wild animals roaming freely in their natural habitat. Day 2

After an early breakfast in Arusha, you will depart for the spectacular Tarangire National Park, 2 hours drive, one of Tanzania’s hidden safari gems, famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds.
Upon arrival, you will enjoy an exciting game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, where you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many other wildlife species roaming freely in their natural habitat. Around lunchtime, you will stop at a scenic picnic site inside the park to enjoy a delicious hot picnic lunch surrounded by the beauty of the African wilderness.
After lunch, you continue with another rewarding afternoon game drive as you explore more of the park and its rich wildlife. Later in the evening, you will head to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay, preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Day 3
Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Early in the morning, after breakfast at your lodge in Mto wa Mbu, you will begin your journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park 3 to 4-hour drive, passing through breathtaking landscapes and traditional Maasai villages along the way.
As you travel across the beautiful Ngorongoro highlands, enjoy stunning panoramic views before entering the endless plains of the Serengeti, home to one of the greatest concentrations of wildlife on Earth. Upon arrival, your safari adventure continues with an exciting game drive, where you may encounter lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, and many other animals roaming freely across the vast savannah.
You will enjoy a hot picnic lunch inside the park, and later on, continue with a game drive.
Later on, you will head to your budget camping for dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti wilderness, surrounded by the unforgettable sounds of the African bush.

You will begin your day with an unforgettable morning game drive in Serengeti after breakfast, when the wildlife is most active, and the golden African sunrise paints the endless plains with breathtaking beauty. Watch as predators return from their night hunt while herds of zebras, wildebeest, and antelopes begin another day on the savannah.
For an even more magical experience, you may choose the optional hot air balloon safari, offering a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the Serengeti at sunrise, followed by a bush breakfast in the wild. This activity is available at an additional cost upon request.
Later, you'll enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing with a scenic transfer game drive toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, you will enjoy more wildlife sightings and landscapes stretching across northern Tanzania.
You arrive in the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by cool, fresh air and magnificent views of the highlands.

Often referred to as the “Garden of Eden,” the crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, offering excellent opportunities to spot lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino.
As you explore this natural wonder, enjoy an exciting game drive through its diverse landscapes of grasslands, forests, and soda lakes. Around lunchtime, you will stop at a scenic picnic site near the hippo pool to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch surrounded by spectacular views and wildlife.
After lunch, you continue with your afternoon game drive before ascending the crater and heading directly to the airport for your scenic flight to Zanzibar. As you fly over the breathtaking landscapes of Tanzania, you will enjoy unforgettable aerial views before arriving at the Island Paradise.
