Upon your arrival at the airport, our professional guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to Arusha, known as the tourism capital city of Tanzania. You will enjoy a short city tour to experience the beauty, culture, and atmosphere of this vibrant safari hub. Afterward, you will be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and enjoy the stunning views and peaceful surroundings as you prepare for your exciting safari adventure starting the next day.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at the lodge in Arusha, you will be picked up by your guide and depart for Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which flows through it and serves as the main water source for wildlife during the dry season. Its landscape features dense vegetation, including acacia woodlands and lush forests. Tarangire is famous for large elephant herds often seen near the river, as well as giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. Predators such as lions and leopards are also commonly spotted, and the park is known for its exceptional birdlife, with more breeding species than almost anywhere on earth.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Along the way, you will pass through the mist-shrouded rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you may spot baboons and, if lucky, even leopards or elephants moving through the dense vegetation. You will continue through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater before proceeding to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, arriving by midday.

The Serengeti is Tanzania’s largest national park, featuring vast and diverse landscapes including open grassy plains, savannahs, swamps, lakes, and scattered mountains. After an extensive afternoon game drive, you will continue to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

You will enjoy a full day in the Serengeti National Park, with a flexible schedule tailored to your preferences. Each day, your guide will discuss and plan the best timings for game drives and activities, including wake-up times, based on wildlife movements and your interests.

For this day, you may choose to start with an early morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and relaxation, and continue with an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, you can opt for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the wilderness.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

You will wake up early and proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. The crater is about 20 km wide and 610 meters deep, and it holds one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa.

Inside the crater, you will have the chance to spot the Big Five as well as wildebeests, gazelles, reedbucks, and over 500 species of birds. The crater also features rivers, swamps, a soda lake filled with flamingos, open plains, and forest areas. It is especially known for its large elephants with impressive tusks, supported by the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while continuing with game viewing throughout the day. Later in the afternoon, you will ascend and drive to your lodge, arriving in time to relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset.

Day 6

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, enjoying stunning views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment along the way. On arrival, you may encounter large troops of baboons, one of the park’s most common wildlife species. Lake Manyara is well known for its rare tree-climbing lions and diverse ecosystems.

The park surrounds the beautiful alkaline Lake Manyara, which attracts thousands of flamingos along its shores, creating a striking pink contrast against the lake’s mineral-rich edges. You will also see yellow-billed storks, herons, and many other bird species, making it a paradise for bird lovers. Hippos can also be spotted in the waters, adding to the wildlife experience.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Later, you will return to Arusha for overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 7

Materuni Waterfalls

After breakfast, you will drive to Materuni Village, located on the lush slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. This area is home to the Chagga people and is well known for its beautiful landscapes, coffee plantations, and rich local culture. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a guided cultural experience where you will learn about traditional coffee processing, from bean to cup, and experience the local way of life.

Later, you will take a scenic hike through tropical rainforest to Materuni Waterfalls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in northern Tanzania. Along the way, you may enjoy views of banana farms, dense greenery, and the refreshing mountain air. At the waterfalls, you can relax, take photos, and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings.

After the experience, you will drive back to Arusha or Airport making the end of our wonderful safari
