Chimpanzee Trekking & Colobus Monkey Experience

Rise early for an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure in Nyungwe Forest. After a
ranger briefing, head into the rainforest in search of these remarkable primates.
Watching chimpanzees in their natural habitat is a truly unforgettable experience. In
the afternoon, enjoy a Colobus monkey experience, where you may see large troops
of Angolan colobus monkeys moving through the forest canopy. Return to the lodge to
relax, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in Nyungwe.

Departure to Volcanoes National Park

After an early breakfast, you will depart from Nyungwe and drive towards Volcanoes
National Park. On the way, you will enjoy a stopover at Lake Kivu for lunch and a short
boat experience, including a visit to Napoleon Island and nearby islands where you
may see vervet monkeys. You will also have a tea plantation experience, where you
will learn about tea growing and processing while enjoying the beautiful green
landscapes. After the visits and lunch, you will continue your drive to Volcanoes
National Park for your next part of the safari.

Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
