Your safari begins with pickup in Nairobi and a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrive at Kibo Safari Camp in time for lunch and settle into your comfortable camp before your first game drive. Amboseli is known for its large elephant herds, open plains and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days.

In the afternoon, explore the park with your professional guide. Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and, with some luck, lions and cheetahs. As the sun sets, watch the plains glow in warm golden light, creating beautiful moments for photography. Return to camp for dinner and a peaceful evening surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.

Wake up to the sounds of the African wilderness you may choose to start your day with an optional hot air balloon ride and above the Amboseli plains as the sun rises. Alternatively, have breakfast before heading out with your professional guide for a full-day game drive. Explore Amboseli’s famous swamps and wetlands, where animals gather near the water and many birds can be seen.

Enjoy the beautiful contrast between the green wetlands and dry open plains, with Mount Kilimanjaro rising in the distance on clear days. Stop for lunch at a designated area before continuing your game drive. In the evening, enjoy a complimentary Maasai village visit when you book with us. Amboseli -Tsavo East

After breakfast, leave the beautiful landscapes of Amboseli and continue to Tsavo East, one of Kenya’s oldest and largest national parks. Arrive at Ashnil Aruba Lodge for lunch before setting out on your first game drive in this vast wilderness. Tsavo East is famous for its red elephants, which get their colour from the park’s rich red soil. Explore the open plains and bush areas around Aruba Dam, a key water source where wildlife often gathers.

With your professional guide, look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and other wildlife while learning about the park’s unique landscape. As evening approaches, enjoy the changing colours of the Tsavo plains before returning to the lodge for dinner. This day is ideal for travellers who want to experience a wilder and more remote side of Kenya, with dramatic scenery, rich wildlife and the famous red elephants of Tsavo East.

Full Day in Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive through the wild landscapes of Tsavo East, with a packed lunch so you can spend more time exploring the park. This is your chance to go deeper into Tsavo and discover its famous red elephants, giant baobab trees and wide open plains. With your professional Lassic Africa guide, explore different parts of the park and look for lesser kudu, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lions, leopards and many bird species.

Your guide will help you find wildlife and share stories about Tsavo’s unique land and animals. Stop at a designated scenic spot for your packed lunch before continuing towards Aruba Dam, where the water draws wildlife to its shores. Enjoy the changing views and quiet wilderness as the day comes to an end before returning to Ashnil Aruba Lodge for dinner.

Tsavo East National Park – Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey from Tsavo East back to Nairobi. Enjoy the changing views as you travel through the Kenyan countryside, passing open plains, local villages and small towns along the way.

If your flight schedule allows, you may choose(at own cost) an optional visit to the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi. Get close to the friendly Rothschild’s giraffes, feed them from the viewing platform and learn about efforts to protect this endangered species. After the visit, continue to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight back home, marking the end of your safari.
