Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha and a scenic drive to Tarangire, one of northern Tanzania’s most rewarding parks for a short luxury safari.

Tarangire is especially famous for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which draws wildlife throughout the dry season. Expect a full game drive through classic savannah landscapes with excellent chances to see elephants, giraffes, zebra, antelope, predators, and prolific birdlife.

A picnic lunch will be arranged in the afternoon before continuing with the game drive.

After a full day of game viewing, you'll head to your luxury lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park and Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, continue to Lake Manyara National Park, beautifully set on the floor of the Great Rift Valley beneath a dramatic escarpment. This park offers a different safari atmosphere from Tarangire, with lush groundwater forest, open lakeshore scenery, and excellent birdlife.

Lake Manyara is best known for its tree-climbing lions, hot springs, primates, and flamingo-rich lake environment, making it a wonderful contrast to the dry plains of Tarangire. A leisurely game drive here gives you time to enjoy the park’s scenery as well as its wildlife before heading onward to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Best Time To Visit June to October (Easier to spot animals)
High Season July to March (The northern section gets crowded)

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

Today is the grand finale of the safari as you drive into the Ngorongoro Highlands and descend into the crater for a spectacular morning game drive.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact, un-flooded volcanic caldera and one of the most dramatic wildlife settings in Africa. Its enclosed floor supports dense populations of animals, giving you excellent chances to spot zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, lions, hyenas, and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.

After enjoying the crater floor and a picnic lunch, you ascend the crater walls and return to Arusha, bringing your three-day luxury safari to a memorable close.
