Arrival and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Upon arrival, our professional tour guide will welcome you and give you a short briefing. After, you will set off towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It is a scenic drive through the hills of Rwanda before entering Uganda. Reach the lodge in the evening and checkin, relax and have dinner.

Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

On this day, wake up early, get ready, and have breakfast early in the morning. After that, you will be transfered to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park tourist information centre where park officials will give a briefing on the rules for trekking mountain gorillas and safety precausions. There is also a bunch of entertainment with these sessions. Then, you will then head into the forest for the trek.

Tracking the endangered mountain gorillas in Bwindi usually takes around 2-6 hours. When you finally spot a group of these big apes, you'll have up to 1 hour to enjoy the experience and snap some photos. After that close encounter with the mountain gorillas.

Once the trek is done, you'll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing sunset boat cruise and spend the night on a lovely island in the middle of L. Bunyonyi.

Boat cruise and transfer back to Kigali

Wake up and have a lazy breakfast at the lodge. After that, you will head out on a boat adventure to check the incredible islands of Lake Bunyonyi including the amazing stories behind them. Lake Bunyonyi is also known as the second deppest lake in Africa. This will be guided by a local guide. After this, you will prepare for your trip back to Kigali.
