Day 1

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up directly from your hotel in Arusha. Meet your professional driver-guide and head straight to Arusha National Park, a hidden gem nestled at the foothills of Mount Meru. You will experience a thrilling 1-hour walking safari accompanied by an armed park ranger, allowing you to view giraffes, zebras, and antelopes at eye level and visit a stunning natural waterfall. Afterward, enjoy a game drive exploring the rugged Ngurdoto Crater and the scenic Momella Lakes, home to thousands of pink flamingos and rare black-and-white colobus monkeys. A delicious picnic lunch and mineral water are provided to keep you refreshed throughout the day. In the evening, drive to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay. Canoeing on Lake Momella is available as an optional activity for an extra cost. Accommodation upgrades are also optional for an extra cost.

Depart from Arusha after a warm breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, famed for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. You will spend the day enjoying rewarding game drives along the winding Tarangire River, a vital freshwater source that draws thousands of animals including zebras, wildebeests, and majestic lions. A picnic lunch and refreshing mineral water are included to keep you energized. In the late afternoon, you will leave the park and drive to Karatu town for dinner and an overnight stay at the comfortable Marera Valley Lodge. After an early breakfast at Marera Valley Lodge, descend 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. This intact volcanic caldera forms a unique, self-sustaining ecosystem teeming with wildlife. You will have an excellent opportunity to spot the iconic "Big Five," including the rare black rhino, heavy-maned lions, and massive bull elephants. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch and refreshing mineral water by the resident hippo pool. In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater and begin the drive back to Arusha. The tour concludes with a convenient drop-off at your hotel in Arusha town. A cultural visit to Maasai Village on the way back to Arusha town it will be part of our tour offer.
