Day 1

Zanzibar to Tarangire

Zanzibar to Tarangire

Depending on your location in Zanzibar, you will be picked up early in the morning and transferred to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will meet your Kilipath professional safari guide, who will provide a short briefing before beginning your adventure.

You will then drive to Tarangire National Park, enjoying scenic views of rolling plains, and iconic baobab trees along the way. Known for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife, Tarangire offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and many other animals.

After a picnic lunch inside the park, you will continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to Suricata Boma Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Crater and descend into this natural wonder for an unforgettable game drive. Often referred to as Africa’s Garden of Eden, the crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and, with a bit of luck, the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the famous hippo pool while surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the crater floor. After your final wildlife sightings and photography opportunities, you will drive back to Arusha and transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar, marking the end of your remarkable safari adventure.
