Begin your day with an early morning game drive along the Victoria and Albert tracks in Murchison Falls National Park, offering excellent opportunities to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of antelope species in their natural habitat. The vast savannah landscapes and rising morning light create ideal conditions for photography and wildlife viewing.
Return to your lodge for a relaxing lunch before heading out in the afternoon for a memorable boat cruise on the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls. This scenic journey offers close encounters with large pods of hippos, basking Nile crocodiles, and elephants and other wildlife gathering along the riverbanks. The cruise also provides spectacular views of the river as it channels powerfully toward the falls.

After breakfast, report to the ranger station in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a comprehensive gorilla trekking briefing by experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority guides. You will then enter the dense rainforest to track a habituated gorilla family, navigating rugged terrain and rich biodiversity. Once located, spend a magical one hour observing these gentle giants as they feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat. The trek duration may range from 2 to 10 hours depending on the gorillas’ movements.
