You will be picked up at the airport in Nairobi and driven to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. On your way, you will stop at the equator line in Nanyuki for a hemispheres demonstration. You will arrive in time for lunch and check-in at your camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive to see endangered rhinos, lions, and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Maisha Sweetwaters camp.

Day 2

Ol Pejeta Conservancy to Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, you will check out and drive to Samburu National Reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge. Freshen up and have a hot lunch. Later, you will proceed for an afternoon game drive. The main highlights of this reserve are the Special Five (also known as the rare Northern species); they include Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk. Apart from Samburu’s Special Five, the reserve is also home to a population of close to 900 elephants and all 3 big cats (lion, cheetah, and African leopard), among many other animals. After the game drive, you will head to the to freshen up and then proceed to a freshly prepared hot dinner. You will have an overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Today, you can have an early breakfast and proceed for a long day of game driving, or you can opt for a morning and afternoon game drive.
