Your adventure begins early in the morning with a departure from Arusha towards Serengeti National Park. The drive passes through the scenic Great Rift Valley and the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area before entering the Serengeti ecosystem. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the vast plains, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, and many other wildlife species. As the sun sets over the savannah, proceed to the public campsite for dinner and overnight. Fall asleep to the sounds of the African wilderness under a sky filled with stars.

Serengeti national park to ngorongoro conservation area

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti, providing another opportunity to witness the park’s incredible wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Depending on the season, you may encounter large herds of migrating wildebeests and zebras as well as predators following closely behind. After lunch, continue with an en-route game drive as you head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the crater rim campsite in the late afternoon where you can enjoy spectacular views over the surrounding highlands. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before descending into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is renowned for its high concentration of wildlife and offers one of the best chances in Tanzania to spot the Big Five in a single day. Explore the crater floor where you may encounter black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, and a variety of birdlife. After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, ascend the crater walls and begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
