After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel at 8am and begin your journey to Tarangire one of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. Renowned for its diverse landscapes and nine distinct vegetation zones, Tarangire offers a unique safari experience unlike any other in the country.
The park is particularly famous for its majestic ancient baobab trees, some of the largest and oldest trees in Africa, which dominate the scenery and create a dramatic backdrop for wildlife viewing. Flowing through the park, the Tarangire River serves as a vital water source and attracts an incredible variety of animals throughout the year. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and an abundance of birdlife.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara, where you will enjoy a full-day game drive in one of Tanzania’s most picturesque wildlife areas. Although relatively small in size, the park is renowned for its remarkable diversity of habitats and breathtaking natural beauty.

Lake Manyara is famous for its lush groundwater forest, home to towering mahogany trees, giant fig trees, and dense acacia woodlands. The park supports an impressive variety of wildlife, including large troops of baboons, blue monkeys, elephants, giraffes, impalas, buffaloes, and hippos. Bird enthusiasts will also be delighted by the abundance of birdlife, with the alkaline lake often attracting flocks of flamingos and numerous other waterbirds.

After an early breakfast, you will depart for the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Although the journey is relatively long, it is filled with breathtaking scenery and unforgettable landscapes. Your first glimpse of the Serengeti is truly remarkable. As you enter the park, you will quickly understand why its name translates to "endless plains" in the local language.

Covering approximately 18,000 square kilometers (6,900 square miles), the Serengeti stretches as far as the eye can see, creating a sense of vastness unlike anywhere else. The park is home to the Great Migration, featuring over two million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and numerous species of antelope. It is also one of the best places in Africa to spot large predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Many iconic wildlife documentaries and television productions have been filmed in this extraordinary ecosystem.

You will spend two full days exploring Serengeti National Park, with complete flexibility to tailor each day to your preferences. Your guide will discuss the best schedule with you, including game drive timings and wake-up times.

For example, you may choose to enjoy an early morning game drive, return to camp for lunch and relaxation, and then head out again for an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, you can spend the entire day in the park on an extended game drive, accompanied by a picnic lunch in the wilderness.

Day 6

The day starts with an early morning game drive to enjoy peak wildlife activity and a stunning sunrise. After brunch at the camp, you’ll continue to Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World.

The crater spans about 102 square miles and is surrounded by 2,000-foot walls, creating a unique wildlife haven home to almost all East African species, including the rare black rhino. It features rivers, swamps, forests, open plains, and a soda lake filled with flamingos, as well as large-tusked elephants.

You’ll arrive in time for a relaxing sundowner. Accommodation upgrades or downgrades are available on request.

We will begin the day early with a descent to the crater floor for an unforgettable morning of wildlife viewing in one of the most spectacular places on Earth. After the game drive, we will enjoy a picnic lunch near the scenic hippo pool. In the afternoon, we will continue with a short game drive before ascending the crater. After exiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we will proceed toward your lodge.

Day 8

Lake Eyasi

Today will be a truly special and unique experience. You will wake up early, just before sunrise, and follow your guide in search of the Hadzabe people one of the last remaining nomadic communities in Africa.

After an introduction to their culture and way of life, you will join them in their morning activities. This off-the-beaten-track experience feels authentic rather than touristic, offering incredible photographic opportunities. You may either accompany the men on a traditional hunt or join the women as they gather fruits and wild foods, gaining firsthand insight into their daily survival skills and customs.

Following your time with the Hadzabe, you will continue to the stunning Lake Eyasi, a shallow salt lake located on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. In the afternoon, you will take a flight onward to Zanzibar.
