Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala by your professional driver-guide. Journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most spectacular wildlife destination.

En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting guided rhino tracking experience on foot. This rare encounter offers the opportunity to observe southern white rhinos in their natural habitat and completes your chances of seeing all members of the Big Five during your safari.

After lunch, continue through Uganda’s scenic countryside and traditional villages toward the park. Upon arrival, visit the top of the magnificent Murchison Falls, where the Nile River surges through a narrow gorge before plunging dramatically below. Rise early for a thrilling morning game drive across the vast savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park. Accompanied by your experienced guide, explore the park's diverse habitats in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, Rothschild's giraffes, leopards, Uganda kobs, hartebeests, and other wildlife species. The early morning hours provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography as animals are most active during this time.

After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a memorable boat cruise along the River Nile to the base of the spectacular Murchison Falls. The cruise offers close-up views of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species along the riverbanks. As you approach the falls, witness the incredible power of the Nile as it squeezes through a narrow gorge before plunging into the valley below. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart Murchison Falls National Park and embark on a scenic journey to Kibale Forest National Park, renowned as the primate capital of East Africa. The drive takes you through Uganda's breathtaking countryside, offering spectacular views of rolling hills, traditional villages, tea plantations, and lush farmlands. Along the way, enjoy the changing landscapes and authentic cultural experiences that make Uganda the Pearl of Africa.

Stop for lunch en route before continuing towards the Kibale region, situated beneath the majestic Rwenzori Mountains, famously known as the "Mountains of the Moon." Arrive in the late afternoon or early evening and check in at your lodge nestled near the tropical forest. After an early breakfast, transfer to the Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for a briefing by experienced park rangers before embarking on an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking adventure. Known as the primate capital of East Africa, Kibale is home to the highest concentration of primates in Uganda. Accompanied by expert guides, venture into the lush tropical rainforest in search of a habituated chimpanzee community. As you trek through the forest, watch for other primates, colorful birds, and unique plant species. You will wake up early to have breakfast at your lodge. Our guide will take you for your second game drive at the Kasenyi plains. The morning game drive will allow you to catch up with nocturnal animals and predators retreating to their dens after hunting in the night. You should also spot the early risers, especially birds.

After resting for a while, you will be transferred to the Kazinga Channel for a boat cruise. The Kazinga Channel is one of Africa’s top birding sites. You can spot both resident and migratory birds in large numbers. During the boat cruise, you will also spot most of the water-dwelling mammals as well as lions, leopards, antelopes, and primates drinking the channel. Hippos, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and crocodiles are always seen bathing/drinking by the water.

Gorilla trekking Experiance

After an early breakfast and a briefing from your ranger guide, you will enter the impenetrable Bwindi Forest for an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. This spectacular rainforest features dramatic, steep forested slopes and dense vegetation, crisscrossed by animal trails that provide access through the wilderness.

The duration of the trek and terrain will vary depending on the movements of the gorillas. Once your assigned gorilla family is located, you will spend up to one hour in their presence. Observing these gentle and endangered giants in their natural habitat is a truly exciting and memorable experience.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch before checking out and transferring to Lake Bunyonyi. Surrounded by lush, terraced hills, the lake is famed for its 29 scenic islands scattered across calm waters, creating one of Uganda’s most beautiful landscapes.
