3-Day Mid-Range Murchison Falls Including Rhino Tracking

Kampala - to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park

You will be picked by our guide from the airport or from your hotel. After a delicious breakfast, the first part of your journey will take you from Kampala or Entebbe to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. After being briefed by the ranger, you will drive to a place where the rhino can be seen - the remaining distance to this area will be on foot. In most cases, you will be able to see the rhino from very near, but always listen to the rangers! After rhino tracking and lunch you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Murchison Falls National Park

You will rise early, enjoy breakfast, then take off in time for the ferry to take you across the Nile. On the northern part of the Nile, you will start your game drive safari looking for wildlife. It is hard to predict which animal you will see first, will it be the elephant, the lion, giraffe, or the elusive leopard? In the afternoon the game drive will conclude and you will head back to the ferry to cross back over the river to have lunch. After lunch, you will take a boat trip on the mighty Nile to the world-famous Murchison Falls where you will be dropped off to take a hike to the top off the falls. Here you will be picked up and taken to Murchison River Lodge.

Morning game drive or Chimpanzee trek and transfer to Kampala

After breakfast, you will do one last game drive in the park or enjoy a guided Chimpanzee trek in Budongo forest.
The chimp trek starts at 08.00 AM from Budongo. After the trek, you will drive back to Kampala.
The game drive will take about 2 to 3 hours. After the drive, it is time to say goodbye to Murchison Falls, and you will drive back to Kampala. Lunch is packed lunch from the lodge
