Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Today, you will start from Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be picked up by our professional guide. Transfer to Tarangire National Park, a 2-hour drive. Upon arrival, you will go on a 6 to 7-hour game drive, and in the afternoon, you will have a hot lunch at the Tarangire River picnic site, which gives you the opportunity to connect with nature and view animals up close. Tarangire National Park is famous for its massive elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, African pythons, cheetahs, lions, giraffes, zebras, and other mammals.

After the game drive, you will head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

This day is designed to be completely flexible, matching your preferences and interests. Each evening, your professional guide will discuss and plan the following day with you, including the best departure times, wake-up schedule, and game drive options to ensure you get the most out of your safari experience.

You may choose to start with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active, then return to your camp or lodge for a relaxing lunch and some downtime before heading out again for an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, you can opt for a full-day game drive in the afternoon. You will have a hot meal inside the park, allowing you to explore the vast plains more deeply and maximize your chances of spotting a wide variety of animals. Day 3

Central Serengeti National Park

You will take a game drive in Central Serengeti, exploring different areas of the park. Experience wildlife in the land of endless plains and view wildebeest, zebras, lions, giraffes, cheetahs and warthogs and watch predators hunt during the day.

In the afternoon, you will have a hot meal in the campsite. After the 6 to 7-hour game drive, you will drive back to Ngorongoro for dinner and an overnight stay. You will spend the night at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge, situated at the rim of the crater, where you will prepare for the next day's descent to the crater.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

You will rise early and set off for the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, often called the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. This caldera is about 20 km wide and 610 meters deep, hosting one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. As you descend into the crater, you’ll have the chance to spot the famous Big Five, along with herds of wildebeests, gazelles, and reedbuck, as well as over 500 bird species.

The crater’s diverse habitats include a river, swamps, open plains, forests, and a soda lake filled with flamingos. It is also well known for its large elephants with impressive tusks, supported by the mineral-rich soil and nutritious grasses. Around midday, you will enjoy a hot meal at a scenic site within the crater before continuing your game drive.

After an unforgettable safari experience, you will ascend the crater walls and head to your lodge, arriving in time to relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset surrounded by nature.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park, a diverse yet compact reserve situated 120 kilometers west of Arusha. The park features its namesake shallow salt lake, which varies in size with the seasons and is home to over 500 bird species. As you explore, you can expect to see a range of wildlife, including monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and, if you’re fortunate, lions resting in the trees. Lake Manyara is famous for its varied landscapes, which include open grassy plains, woodlands filled with primates, and cliffs adorned with baobab trees.

After a full day of wildlife viewing, you’ll return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6

Materuni Waterfalls

Materuni Waterfalls

You'll be picked up from the lodge and driven to Materuni Village. Upon arrival, you will register at the village office, and your trip will begin with a visit to the waterfalls, which are a short 40-minute walk away. Your guide will give you a brief description of Chagga culture and village life, set amid trees and flora. The views are truly breathtaking, and you will see Mount Kilimanjaro. When you reach the waterfalls, you will see they are more than 80 meters high. At the bottom of the waterfall, there is an amazing pool, a good place for a refreshing swim, meditation and prayer.

After enjoying the scenery, you will slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where you will experience a traditional Chagga lunch. You will also have the opportunity to taste our local banana beer and natural coffee, dance and reduce stress while listening to waterfalls.

After the tour, you will drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for an air transfer.
