Arusha to Tarangire National Park

For guests arriving through Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), our driver will welcome you on arrival and transfer you to Arusha the day before your safari.
For guests already in Arusha, your safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel.

Your journey then continues to Tarangire National Park, a spectacular wildlife destination renowned for its ancient baobab trees, beautiful savannah landscapes and impressive elephant herds. Enjoy a game drive through the park, exploring the Tarangire River and surrounding wilderness, where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, leopards and other wildlife.

Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch during your adventure before continuing your game drive.
Later, ascend towards the Great Rift Valley highlands and settle into your luxury lodge for a relaxing evening, dinner and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, journey towards the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater and descend into its spectacular wildlife-rich floor. Surrounded by dramatic volcanic walls, the crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife and offers exceptional opportunities for game viewing.

Explore the open grasslands, wetlands and acacia areas in search of the Big Five, including the rare black rhino. Along the way, you may encounter elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and a variety of birdlife.

Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls. Continue to your luxury accommodation in the highlands for dinner, relaxation and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha/JRO Airport

After breakfast, descend towards Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Explore its diverse landscapes, from lush groundwater forests and acacia woodlands to open plains and the shores of the seasonal soda lake.

Look out for large troops of baboons, elephants, giraffes and abundant birdlife, including flamingos along the lakeshore. With some luck, you may also spot Lake Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions resting in the branches.

After your game drive and picnic lunch, begin your journey back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your preferred hotel, lodge or Arusha Airport, marking the end of your luxury safari.
