Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha, the safari capital of Tanzania. After breakfast, your Kilipath African Safaris guide will meet you at your accommodation and begin the journey to Tarangire National Park, approximately a two-hour drive from Arusha.

Known for its impressive elephant populations, towering baobab trees, and vast golden plains, Tarangire offers a truly authentic safari experience. The life-giving Tarangire River attracts a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, hartebeests, and various antelope species. After breakfast, you will continue your safari toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the scenic highlands of Karatu, where local communities cultivate coffee, wheat, and maize on the fertile slopes.

Covering more than 15,000 square kilometers, Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destination, renowned for its vast open savannahs, rocky kopjes, river systems, and extraordinary abundance of wildlife. After an early breakfast, you will set out for a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Accompanied by your expert Kilipath African Safaris guide, you will explore the park’s vast plains in search of lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and many other incredible wildlife species.

Depending on the season, you may also witness part of the world-famous Great Migration, one of nature’s most spectacular events.

After an exciting day of safari adventures, you will return to Misako Mara Migration Camp.

Northern Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater

After breakfast, you will enjoy another exciting game drive in Serengeti National Park, exploring its endless plains and searching for the incredible wildlife that calls this ecosystem home. Keep your camera ready for sightings of lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, and many other fascinating animals.

Later, you will journey toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, enjoying scenic landscapes and wildlife sightings along the way. As you approach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater.

In the evening, you will arrive at Farm of Dreams Lodge, where a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay await you in the peaceful surroundings of Karatu.

Day 6

Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Often referred to as Africa’s Garden of Eden, the crater is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, leopards, zebras, and numerous bird species.

As you explore the crater floor, you will enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by breathtaking scenery and may spot flamingos gathered around the crater’s soda lakes.

After an exciting game drive, you will ascend from the crater and return to Farm of Dreams Lodge for some relaxation.

After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. Famous for its beautiful landscapes and diverse wildlife, the park is home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, monkeys, and over 500 bird species. With a bit of luck, you may also spot the renowned tree-climbing lions.

After enjoying your final safari experience and a picnic lunch, you will return to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay at Summit Safari Lodge.
