Drive through the southern gate and head directly to your safari lodge. Set out at dawn for a game drive across the scenic Buligi Peninsula, a prime wildlife viewing sector wedged between the Victoria and Albert Niles. After a midday rest, embark on a spectacular three-hour afternoon boat cruise up the Nile toward the base of the falls. The riverbanks are alive with giant Nile crocodiles, hundreds of wallowing hippos, and thirsty wildlife coming down to drink. Arrive in the afternoon and immediately head out for a calm boat cruise on Lake Mburo. Experience the wilderness from a different perspective during an early morning guided walking safari. Walking outside the vehicle allows you to quietly approach zebras, giraffes, impalas, and elands, learning about tracking animal tracks and medicinal plants along the way. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then take a short, final game drive as you exit the park. Travel back toward Kampala or Entebbe, stopping at the Equator crossing for lunch, photographs, and souvenir shopping. Your driver will transfer you directly to Entebbe International Airport.
