We expect you to arrive at Entebbe International Airport in the morning, where you will be met and warmly welcomed by our safari guide. The guide will brief you on what to expect during the tour as you travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park in a comfortable 4x4 pop-up safari Land Cruiser.

The journey takes approximately seven hours, with a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch. Depending on your arrival time at the park, you may enjoy an evening game drive if you feel energetic and interested. Otherwise, you can relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night at the lodge.

Queen's Game Drive and a Boat Cruise along Kazinga Channel

Enjoy breakfast, then set off for an exciting morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You'll be fascinated by the sight of animals including herds of buffaloes, African elephants, Uganda kob, waterbuck, warthogs, bushbucks, lions among others. After the drive, return to the lodge to relax and enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, you'll proceed for a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel. This memorable water safari lasts about two to three hours and offers excellent opportunities to see hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and water birds. In the evening, relax at lodge or spend the evening on a short game drive.

Day 3

Today we leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Park via the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth famous for the tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector. There is 70% chance of spotting these lions up in the trees and more wildlife in this part of the park. We will connect to Bwindi, arriving in time to visit the Batwa pygmy’s community. Relax at the lodge as you prepare for the strenous but exciting gorilla trekking hike the next day.

Day 4

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & Transfer to Lake Bunyony

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before setting off on an unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, venture into the ancient rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas and the terrain. Once found, you'll spend a memorable hour observing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat, watching their social interactions and daily activities up close.

After the trek, return for lunch before departing for Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda's most scenic destinations. The drive takes approximately 2 hours, winding through the spectacular Kigezi Highlands with breathtaking views of terraced hills and rural landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at your lakeside lodge and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

Return to Entebbe

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast beside the serene waters of Lake Bunyonyi, soaking in the gentle morning mist and the calming sounds of nature. Afterwards, set off on a scenic drive back to Entebbe, winding through Uganda’s rolling hills, terraced farmlands, and vibrant roadside towns, with a pleasant lunch stop along the way. You will arrive in the evening carrying lasting memories of Uganda’s remarkable wildlife, breathtaking landscapes, and warm-hearted people.
