Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your honeymoon begins with a personalised VIP meet-and-greet service. After breakfast, depart Entebbe and begin your journey west towards Kibale Forest National Park. The drive offers an excellent introduction to Uganda's diverse landscapes, passing bustling towns, traditional villages, rolling farmland, and scenic countryside. As you travel deeper into western Uganda, the landscape gradually transforms into lush tea plantations and forested hills surrounding the Fort Portal region.

After an early breakfast, transfer to Kibale Forest National Park for one of Africa's most rewarding primate encounters. Accompanied by experienced rangers and trackers, venture into the rainforest in search of a habituated chimpanzee community. Kibale is home to the highest concentration of primates in East Africa, and the trek offers an opportunity to observe not only chimpanzees but also a variety of monkeys, birds, and forest wildlife along the way.

Once the chimpanzees are located, spend time observing their fascinating behaviour as they feed, groom, play, and communicate within the forest canopy. After this memorable experience, return to Chimpundu Lodge for a leisurely lunch before continuing south towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and travel south through the remote Ishasha Sector, a region renowned for its famous tree-climbing lions. After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before entering Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Accompanied by experienced rangers, trek through the forest as you follow signs of the gorillas while learning about their behaviour, habitat, and conservation.

The duration of the trek varies depending on the location of your assigned gorilla family, but the reward is an unforgettable hour spent observing these gentle giants in their natural environment.
